Background
Manami grew up in Doma and got married to a man and had two boys, they had a happy life in the countryside and the most danger she dealt with was fending off wild animals. However, in the Doma revolution her sons and husband both were killed by the Garelan occupants and Manami fled Doma for Kugane. She was taken in as a concubine by a rich man and live there for about a year before he tired of her and threw her out on the street and replaced her with a younger woman. Manami lived on the street doing odd jobs and begging for enough money to live before Marla came along and the two became companions. Marla’s kindness saved Manami in her eyes, and her devotion to her new Lady knows no bounds.
The two women grew closer as Marla had Manami taking care of her room and meals while she was in Kugane. One night over drinks Manami and Marla grew close physically and Manami re-evaluated her perception of herself as straight. As Marla’s time came to a close she was greatly surprised to be invited to return with her and jumped at the opportunity. As they lived together she would encourage Marla to move forward in life, build her new family, and secure a future which would make Marla happy. Once Marla created her clan Manami became responsible for caring for the house and garden, as that’s where her passions lay.
Personality
Manami’s personality shows immediately to any who see her, she is patient and kind, almost to a fault. She is submissive and will listen to Marla’s instructions, but will not hesitate to help Marla come to understand her own or someone else’s point of view as she deems that in Marla’s best interests. She loves being of service in domestic affairs, and enjoys constant physical reminders of Marla throughout her day. Manami also considers her body as flabby and subpar but greatly enjoys the attention she gets from Marla and the other family members regarding her physical form since she doesn’t believe herself worthy of them. Manami also considers ensuring Marla’s happiness as her primary goal, and her actions are heavily driven by that motivation. She also takes great pride in being able to comfort the members of the Clan and provide them a safe space to talk and be heard.
